Nadia Bloom waved as rescuers carried her to safety this morning, and local TV stations tossed their regular schedules to wait for the emotional moment.
WFTV-Channel 9's George Spencer said it was "certainly the ending that everyone wanted" and "the moment that people had been hoping for over the past four days."
The 11-year-old Winter Springs girl had been missing since Friday. She was found, dehydrated and suffering bug bites, in a swampy area near Lake Jessup.
