Attorney General Marty Jackley warns South Dakotan consumers of a Robo-Call scam that has recently surfaced in the state.
The Consumer Protection Division reports that consumers are receiving automated calls offering to reduce the interest rate on their credit card or claiming there is a problem with the consumer’s credit card. Consumer Protection has received numerous complaints from consumers that are receiving these calls, but so far, there are no reports of consumers who have fallen victim to this scam.
