Original Story: One of the worst kept secrets in the gaming industry, Gears of War 3, was officially announced last night on the US Late Night talk show with Jimmy Fallon. Epic Games’ Cliff Bleszinski had the honour of unveiling the debut trailer, entitled Ashes to Ashes, which reveals double-barreled shotguns, female soldiers and a new mutated variant of the Locust, called the Lambent. Bleszinski also confirmed the April 2011 release date, saying that it will likely be around the 8th.
